Prepare In Advance For The Potential of a Pitch
Once your applications are all turned in, it’s time to get to work on your pitch. Pitching a group of investors can be scary. But Pitch Power will take the uncertainty and fear and replace it with purpose and confidence.
The seven-week training will again be taught by a team of industry experts, including entrepreneurs, mentors and business coaches. Participants receive all the tools they need to confidently present to real investors and get real investments. This hands-on approach is unique and one of the best decisions that an entrepreneur can make for the future of their business.
Swimlane, LLC was a participant in the inaugural training in January 2015 and a recipient of a Spring 2015 Arizona Innovation Challenge Grant. Cody Cornell, CEO, said this about the Pitch Power experience.
We were able to ask real questions of experts and get real answers. The structure and material were fantastic. We had access to some great resources, and getting feedback in a safe space is invaluable.
Each week, Pitch Power gives participants an opportunity to practice portions of their pitch in front of peers and field experts. And this, according to program creator Trish Rensink, is part of what makes this program so unique.
Trish has this to say,
Angel investors told us they’d seen too many unprepared and unskilled pitches. NACET knew it could turn that around. So we developed an in-depth program with numerous practice sessions, and the opportunity to meet and develop relationships with investors.
This year, Pitch Power will be held at Chandler’s Innovations Incubator, 145 South 79th St. Space is limited, so secure your spot today. Click here to learn more.
